A year in the making and produced sorely with one desktop and a headset microphone by a then-17-year-old queer musician, UnPop takes us through the story of Anxie and Emma, two lesbian women who fall in love through each other's music. The album utilizes vocoder technology to represent the voices of the two characters, and goes through many different styles of pop and rock music over the course of its epic sapphic romance narrative. It has a 3.4/5 stars rating on rateyourmusic.com and Isabella James, often referred to as "the greatest artist of our time", have called it a "concise, marvelous and amazing record"! Wow!!!
