Album 11 of 12 in ALBUM-A-MONTH 2021, Lily of the Valley. JohnJRenns wrote these songs as part of his fanfiction project based on the RPG game OMORI, originally created by OMOCAT. She enlisted the help of long-time collaborator Ucklin in this historic collaborative effort. In this, Renns is the piano player to Ucklin's emotional vocal performances. Sung from the perspective of MARI SUZUKI, these lyrics deal in heavy themes about suicide, guilt and what life means in the face of unrepentable sin. With the fanfic having reached over 500 kudos on archiveofourown.com and the album garnering thousands of streams on Spotify, Lily of the Valley will be remembered as a crowning achievement for both of these artists, and it is considered to be the career-defining highlight of ALBUM-A-MONTH for JohnJRenns.
